The mission of the National Homicide Investigators Association is to provide investigative support, training, and networking opportunities to homicide investigators, prosecutors, forensic technicians, federal agents, military police and death investigation professionals throughout the State of Florida and now, Nationwide. The “cornerstone” of our Association is our low cost, affordable annual training conference related to homicide case management and operational strategy as well as the latest advancements in forensic science and laboratory technologies. Our general objectives shall be to advance the community orientated goals of law enforcement in the specific area of homicide investigations, to advance the educational undertakings among homicide investigators and to promote the welfare of the community. During this annual five-day event, the participants experience notable case presentations and training seminars. In addition, the conference provides an environment for networking, individual case evaluations and discussions of investigative techniques with some of the top investigators and prosecutors in the nation.
